(Excerpt taken from the July 2008 YogaBizz enewsletter)
Bettelinn Brown, guest speaker at the July 12, 2008 teacher party strongly suggested that as teachers, we do 2 things:
1) Regularly take classes from many teachers.
2) Let teachers join your class for free.
Do you regularly take classes for your Self & your teaching?
At our first teacher party in April, Dawn of Seattle Acro, said this,
"Teaching is for you. Your practice is for your students."
When it comes to why we must take care of our Selves, I think this says it all!
Do you give classes for free to teachers? How might this support your passion & your business?
This is a question that only you can answer for yourself. There is no right or wrong to this, simply your choice.

The Bizz Challenge: Simply Teach
Want to promote your teaching? Not good at Marketing?
Then simply teach! And open your classes to other teachers.
Referrals will be your BEST source of connection to other students down the road.
Yoga Teacher or Therapist? Ask nicely...
If you wish to attend a class of a fellow colleague, call and ask if you may have a class or 2 for free. If it's a private session, ask if a professional discount is available.
